**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations at our office located in Shankar Nagar, Raipur. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST and TDS compliance, and ensuring proper utilization of Tally software with Edit Log functionality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Work on Tally ERP with proper usage of Edit Log for audit and compliance purposes
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) within prescribed timelines
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash/bank records
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards
- Assist during internal and external audits
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain organized financial documentation and records
**Required Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP (with Edit Log compliance)
- Good understanding of GST and TDS regulations
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
**Preferred Qualification:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- Relevant experience in accounting and taxation
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):**
- Accuracy in financial records and reporting
- Timely filing of GST and TDS returns
- Compliance with statutory norms
- Efficiency in daily accounting operations
