Accountant – Real Estate & Construction (Raipur)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and sharp Accountant to handle day-to-day financial operations at our head office in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. In this role, you will manage site-wise project accounting, vendor payouts, and statutory compliances for our residential and commercial construction projects across the region.

Important Requirement: Prior core experience working specifically within a Real Estate Construction Company or the Construction Industry is absolutely mandatory. Local candidates or those with deep experience in the Raipur real estate market will be highly preferred.Key Responsibilities

Project Cost Accounting: Maintain accurate, site-wise books of accounts for ongoing construction projects in and around Raipur, keeping track of material costs, labor expenses, and overheads.Contractor & Vendor Billing: Verify and process bills submitted by civil contractors, sub-contractors, and material suppliers (cement, steel, etc.) against actual site work measurements and purchase orders.Tax & Statutory Compliance: Handle industry-specific compliances, including CGST & SGST calculations (with strict verification of Input Tax Credit), TDS deductions (including TDS on works contracts under Section 194C), and financial reporting for Chhattisgarh RERA (CG-RERA).Cash Flow Management: Monitor site expenses against sanctioned project budgets, manage daily cash flows for site operations, and coordinate weekly or fortnightly labor payments.Reconciliation: Conduct regu
