Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Associate with at least 3 years of experience in Indian accounting practices . The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, good communication skills, and hands-on experience using Zoho Books . This role requires someone who can manage financial records accurately and support the finance team in daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Support GST-related documentation and filings when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial documentation and approvals.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: B.Com/M.Com
- Preferred: Semi-qualified CA or CMA
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Indian Accounting
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
