**Role Overview**
Palletraa is looking for a dedicated and energetic **Assistant Cameraman Intern** to join our production team. This isn’t a "coffee-running" internship; you’ll be on the front lines of high-end real estate, hospitality, and brand shoots. You will start as a volunteer to prove your technical grasp and work ethic, with a direct path to paid roles based on your performance.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- **Equipment Management:** Setting up and breaking down camera rigs, gimbals (DJI Ronin series), and lighting setups for studio and location shoots.
- **On-Set Support:** Managing lens changes, monitoring battery levels, and ensuring all media is backed up and organized (DIT basics).
- **Lighting & Composition:** Assisting the lead cinematographer with light placement, using reflectors/diffusers, and helping frame architectural or lifestyle shots.
- **Behind-the-Scenes (BTS):** Capturing high-quality BTS footage/photos for Palletraa’s social media channels.
- **Equipment Maintenance:** Ensuring all gear is cleaned, packed correctly, and ready for the next shoot day.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
- **Technical Familiarity:** A basic understanding of mirrorless/cinema cameras (Sony Alpha series preferred) and manual settings (ISO, Shutter, Aperture).
- **The "Hustle" Factor:** You are proactive. You see a light that needs moving or a battery that’s low before anyone has to tell you.
- **Physical Agility:** Ability to handle equipment and stay on your feet during long shoot days (sometimes in outdoor/resort environments).
- **Visual Eye:** A passion for cinematography and a desire to learn high-end visual storytelling.
- **Reliability:** Punctuality is non-negotiable. You’re the first one there and the last to leave.
**The "Paid Evaluation" Process**
We believe in rewarding talent. Your internship will serve as an evaluation period:
- **Trial Phase:** You’ll join us for 2–3 shoots to demonstrate your skills and fit with the Palletraa team.
- **Assessment:** We will judge your technical speed, attention to detail, and ability to take creative direction.
- **The Result:** Successful interns will transition into a **paid per-shoot assistant** or a **permanent junior role** within the agency.
