**Job Description – Electrical Engineer (Construction Projects)**

**Position: Electrical Engineer**

**Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh**

**Job ummary**

**We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise all electrical activities at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and quality control of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety and project specifications.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project Execution**

**Supervise electrical installation works at construction sites.**

**Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.**

**Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.**

**Monitor progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.**

**Electrical Systems Management**

**Installation and maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, and electrical distribution systems.**

**Supervise cable laying, earthing, lighting, and power distribution works.**

**Ensure proper testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.**

**Monitor electrical load requirements and power consumption.**

**Quality Control**

**Ensure electrical works comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.**

**Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of execution.**

**Maintain testing and commissioning records.**

**Safety & Compliance**

**Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.**

**Conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections.**

**Coordinate with safety teams for safe work practices.**

**Planning & Coordination**

**Review electrical drawings and BOQs.**

**Prepare material requisitions and monitor material consumption.**

**Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials.**

**Manage subcontractors and vendor activities.**

**Maintenance & Troubleshooting**

**Identify and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.**

**Maintain project electrical equipment and temporary site electrification.**

**Ensure uninterrupted power supply for project operations.**

**Documentation**

**Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report), electrical logs, and project records.**

**Prepare measurement sheets and billing-related documentation.**

**Maintain as-built drawings and handover documents.**

**Required Qualifications**

**B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.**

**Valid Electrical Supervisor License (preferred).**

**Knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning.**

**Required Skills**

**AutoCAD and electrical drawing interpretation.**

**Knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG sets, transformers, and earthing systems.**

**Project planning and site execution.**

**Vendor and subcontractor management.**

**Cost control and material management.**

**Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.**

**Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reporting.**

**Preferred Experience**

**Experience in Government Building Projects, Commercial Buildings, Residential Projects, Hospitals, Educational Institutions, or Infrastructure Projects.**

**Experience handling electrical works from project initiation to handover.**
