General Ledger Accountant (US)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings minimum of 7 years of hands - on experience into accounting with proven expertise in Advanced Excel.\n\nShift timings -\nRequirements\nAbility to deal with large amounts of data across many different tables or sources.\nAnalyze and draw findings and/or recommend action plans.\nAdvanced Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query, lookups, pivots)\nGood communication skills.\nExcellent time management skills.\nProven ability to drive problems to closure.\nSelf-directed, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.\nResponsibilities\nStrong knowledge in Month End Close.\nPreparation of journal entries like amortization and accrual.\nBalance sheet reconciliation, including bank recon, subledger recon, etc.\nAble to research on discrepancies and take proper follow up action to close the gap.\nExcellent time management skills.\nProven ability to drive problems to closure.
