We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Head of Procurement to lead our sourcing and supply chain operations — with strong expertise in **Plumbing & Fire Fighting** materials and projects.

**About the Role:**

As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement strategy, vendor management, and cost optimisation — with a specific focus on Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems, materials, and project-based sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire procurement function across projects
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Plumbing & Fire Fighting materials (pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, etc.)
• Identify, evaluate & onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure best value
• Oversee procurement planning aligned with project timelines & budgets
• Coordinate with Project, Design & Site teams for material requirements
• Monitor market trends for material pricing and availability
• Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all procured materials
• Build and manage a high-performing procurement team
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards

**Key Requirements:**

8–15 years of procurement experience in construction / MEP / infrastructure sector

Proven experience in procurement for Plumbing projects:

• CPVC / GI / PPR / HDPE pipes & fittings
• Sanitary ware, valves, pumps & water treatment equipment

Strong experience in Fire Fighting project procurement:

• MS ERW / GI pipes & fittings
• Sprinkler heads, hydrant systems, fire pumps & suppression systems
• NFPA / NBC compliant materials sourcing

Strong vendor network in plumbing & fire fighting materials industry

Excellent negotiation, contract management & communication skills

Proficiency in ERP / procurement software (SAP, Tally, or similar)

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred (Added Advantage):

MBA in Supply Chain / Operations Management

Prior experience with large-scale commercial / industrial / high-rise projects

Knowledge of import/export procedures for specialized materials

Experience building procurement SOPs and policies from scratch
