JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Location: GE Road, Raipur

Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the organization's accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting transactions, assisting with statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries accurately.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify ledger balances.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist in GST billing, invoicing, and related compliance documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
• Update and manage accounting data in Tally and MS Excel.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Assist senior accountants in financial reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, GST, and basic taxation concepts.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of GST returns, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
