Lab assistant

Job Summary:

The Lab Assistant is responsible for assisting teachers and students during practical classes, maintaining laboratory equipment and materials, ensuring safety standards, and keeping the laboratory clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials before practical sessions.Assist teachers during science practical classes and demonstrations.Maintain stock registers for laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and lab materials.Keep laboratories neat, clean, and well organized.Report damaged or missing equipment to the concerned authority.Maintain safety measures and ensure students follow laboratory rules.Label and arrange specimens, charts, instruments, and apparatus properly.Support in conducting internal practical examinations and assessments.Maintain attendance and usage records of laboratory materials.Coordinate with vendors for laboratory purchases if required.Assist in annual stock verification and audit work.Required Qualifications:

Graduate / Diploma in Science or relevant field.Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.Computer knowledge preferred.Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
