Mechanical Design Junior Engineer

DUTIES : • Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor DraftSight and AutoCAD. • Collaborate with the sales team to create concept drawings and visual aids for client proposals. • Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and all related documentation required for mechanical design. QUALIFICATIONS: • 2 to 5 years of engineering design and research experience in some capacity in a manufacturing environment. • The candidate must have either a 3-year technologist diploma or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. SKILLS : • Mechanical knowledge • Custom machine design experience • CAD (3D and 2D) • SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor • AutoCAD and/or Draftsight • Microsoft Outlook and Teams • Communication skills • Microsoft O6ice Suite (Word, Excel, ppt) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
