Job Summary

The Mechanical Maintenance Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimum machine performance and safety compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and checklists.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for increased efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, if applicable.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

**Required Qualifications**

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and Related Field
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or industrial plants.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, rotating equipment, and industrial machinery maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems is preferred.

**Reporting To**

Maintenance Manager / Plant Head

**Salary**

20k - 25k Negotiable

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial plants.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
• Knowledge preventive maintenance practices will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
