Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management
Tagging & Barcoding: Ensure all jewellery items are correctly tagged with item codes, weight, purity, size, and pricing.
Stock Audits: Regularly reconcile physical inventory with the jewellery management software to prevent discrepancies.
Quality Verification: Verify actual weight on precision scales and check diamond carat counts and quality.
Stock Movement: Oversee the transfer of stock between manufacturing units, warehouses, and the retail showroom. [1, 2, 3]
2. Documentation & Compliance
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records for taxation (GST, TDS), hallmarking requirements, and legal documentation.
Filing: Keep detailed files for sales invoices, purchase receipts, and vendor contracts.
