Department - Counseling

Qualification - MA – Psychology/Master in Social Welfare (MSW)/MA - Sociology

Experience - 1 Year Minimum/ Fresher can also apply with above qualification

Location - Raipur

**About Patient Counselor**

A patient counselor is a healthcare professional who helps patients and their families understand their medical conditions and treatment options. They also help patients address emotional and psychological challenges related to their health.

**Job Description**

· **Provide support**: Help patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential outcomes

· **Address emotional challenges**: Help patients manage mental and emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma

· **Educate patients**: Explain the intensity of the disease, and educate patients about coping mechanisms

· **Help patients make informed decisions**: Ensure patients have the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health

· **Coordinate with other healthcare professionals**: Communicate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

· **Manage clinical care**: Manage clinical care for assigned patients, including treatment plans

· **Record patient progress**: Record patient progress and adjust treatment plans when needed

· Help patients complete consent forms and paperwork

· Assist patients with investigations and follow-up appointments

· Help patients select the best treatment options

· Help patients understand the facilities available at the hospital
