Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head

**Experience:**

· Minimum **4–8 years** of experience in purchase/procurement **,**

· Experience in **refractory, cement, steel, or kiln-based industry preferred**

**Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with knowledge of the refractory and kiln industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement of raw materials, spare parts, and services required for plant operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Handle **end-to-end procurement process** for plant requirements
• Purchase **refractory materials, kiln spare parts, consumables, and equipment**
• Develop and manage vendor database and relationships
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store department
• Prepare purchase orders (PO) and maintain documentation
• Conduct market research for cost reduction and new suppliers
• Ensure quality standards of purchased materials
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and finance teams
• Track deliveries and resolve supply-related issues
• Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and audit compliance

**Key Skills Required:**

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of refractory materials and kiln operations
• Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management
• Strong analytical and cost-control ability
• Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems(Optional)
• Good communication and coordination skills

**Qualification:**

· Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management

· MBA (Supply Chain / Operations) preferred
