QA Manual Tester

**Job Title: Junior Tester**

Location: Raipur, India
Experience: 1–3 years
Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering

**About the Role**

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer (Tester) to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our fintech applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to test web and mobile applications while gaining exposure to automation, cloud environments, and compliance-driven testing.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Manual Testing**

• Execute test cases for:
• Web applications (React.js)
• Mobile apps (React Native – iOS & Android)
• Backend APIs (PHP, Node.js)
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using standard tools.

**API & Backend Testing**

• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
• Validate request/response structures, authentication, and error handling.
• Assist in testing microservices-based systems.

**Database Testing**

• Validate data integrity using MySQL.
• Write basic SQL queries for verification and troubleshooting.
• Ensure correctness of financial transactions and data flows.

**Automation (Basic Exposure)**

• Assist in developing and maintaining basic automation scripts.
• Learn and contribute to automation frameworks (if available).
• Support regression automation efforts.

**Test Documentation**

• Create and maintain:
• Test cases
• Test plans
• Test reports
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps.

**Collaboration & Agile**

• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Participate in:
• Daily stand-ups
• Sprint planning
• Retrospectives
• Provide feedback on usability and performance.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

**Education**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

**Soft Skills**

• Strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

**Good to Have**

• Internship or project experience in QA/testing.
• Exposure to:
• Automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• API testing tools (Postman)
• Basic understanding of fintech or banking workflows.
• Awareness of security testing basics.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
