**About the Role**

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Support cum Tester. This is a great opportunity for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about software quality and customer support. You will work closely with developers and clients to ensure our software is reliable, functional, and user-friendly.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide first-level technical support to clients and end-users
• Analyse, reproduce, and document software bugs and defects
• Design, write, and execute test cases based on requirements
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Collaborate with the development team to verify bug fixes
• Maintain records of test results and support tickets
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members as needed

**Manual Testing Skills (Must Know)**

• Test case design and documentation
• Regression, Smoke and Sanity testing
• Bug lifecycle management
• Test strategy understanding and execution
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Familiarity with testing types: Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression, Smoke, Sanity

**Automation Tools**

UI Automation: Playwright (Highly Recommended), Selenium WebDriver, Cypress API Automation: RestAssured (Java), Postman Mobile Testing: Appium (basic knowledge, optional)

**Framework Knowledge**

• Data-Driven Framework
• Keyword-Driven Framework
• Page Object Model (POM)

**CI/CD & DevOps**

• Jenkins / GitHub Actions
• Running automation in pipelines
• Basic Docker knowledge (Bonus)

**API Testing**

• REST API testing
• JSON / XML handling
• HTTP status codes and authentication

**Good to Have**

• Performance Testing — JMeter
• Basic security testing knowledge
• AI-based testing tools (Trending!)
• Cloud testing — BrowserStack / Sauce Labs

**Required Skills**

• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to learn new tools quickly
