**Accountant – Transport Company**

**Location:** Transport Nagar, Raipur

**Salary -** 12k to 25k
**Timing -** 10am to 7pm

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and operational documentation of our transport business. The role involves bookkeeping, GST and TDS data preparation, E-Way Bill generation, challan and invoice management, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records. The candidate will support management by preparing data for compliance and reporting purposes.

**Key Responsibilitie**

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and financial records.
• Record all receipts, payments, expenses, and bank transactions.
• Maintain cash book, ledgers, and accounting entries in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain GST-related sales and purchase data.
• Compile and reconcile data required for GST filings.
• Calculate and prepare TDS deduction records and reports.

**Transport Documentation**

• Generate and manage E-Way Bills.
• Prepare invoices, challans, freight bills, and other transport-related documents.
• Maintain records of vehicle expenses, fuel expenses, and transporter payments.
• Ensure proper documentation for goods movement and deliveries.

**Required Skills**

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, E-Way Bills, invoices, and challans.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.

**Preferred Candidate**

• Any graduate with good accounting experience.
• Experience in transport, logistics, or similar industry preferred.
• Ability to independently manage daily accounting operations.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
