Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for a reputed Real Estate / Construction firm. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting procedures, GST, TDS, return filing, and overall financial management. Candidates having prior experience in the construction or real estate sector will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and bank transaction records
- Prepare invoices and oversee billing processes
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and return filing
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing
- Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for audits, taxation, and compliance matters
- Manage vendor payments and client account records
- Monitor cash flow and banking transactions efficiently
- Ensure compliance with statutory and taxation regulations
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of GST and TDS
- Experience in return filing and taxation processes
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Knowledge of real estate/construction accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in Real Estate / Construction industry will be an added advantage
