Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Accountant with a strong background in real estate accounting and finance. The candidate must be proficient in Tally Prime and have in-depth knowledge of tax compliance (TDS, GST), bank reconciliations, contractor payments, and financial reporting. Additionally, the role requires managing bank finance operations including loan processing, bank tie-ups, and coordination with financial institutions to support company funding needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and bookkeeping using Tally Prime.
Handle TDS compliance: deduction, deposit, and filing of returns accurately and timely.
Manage GST compliance including preparation, filing of returns, reconciliation, and responding to audits.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including contractor/vendor payments ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
Process payroll and statutory compliances related to employee salaries and benefits. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions. Liaise with bankers for smooth processing of finance, timely sanction, and disbursement of loans.
Monitor loan repayment schedules and calculate interest accurately.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws, banking policies, and real estate regulations.
Support management with financial insights and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience in the real estate sector.
Strong proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
