**Job Title: Assistant Professor – Law**
**Department: Faculty of Law**
**Location: Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh**
**Institution: Kalinga University**
**Kalinga University is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Professor in Law to contribute to teaching, research, and academic development. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality legal education and supporting institutional academic goals.**
**Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law programs (BA LL.B, LL.B, LL.M)**
**Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments**
**Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions (including moot court guidance)**
**Evaluate students through exams, assignments, and internal assessments**
**Engage in research and publish in reputed journals**
**Participate in academic activities like seminars, workshops, FDPs**
**Contribute to curriculum development and departmental administration**
**Maintain records and comply with university/UGC guidelines.**
**LL.M. (Master of Laws) in relevant specialization**
**NET / SET qualification (preferred)**
**Ph.D. in Law (as per role requirement / preferred)**
**Qualifications must be as per UGC norms**
**Freshers with NET/Ph.D. can apply**
**Prior teaching or research experience preferred**
**Practical/legal industry exposure is an added advantage.**
**2-4 years experience ( preferred)**
**Strong subject knowledge in core law areas**
**Good communication and presentation skills**
**Research and academic writing ability**
**Student mentoring and classroom management**
**Familiarity with legal research tools and databases**
**Academic setting with classroom + research responsibilities**
**Exposure to moot courts, seminars, and legal training activities**
**Collaborative university environment with focus on innovation and research.**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
