**Core responsibilities are divided into the following key areas:**
**1. Labor & Employee Relations (IR/ER)**
- **Conflict Resolution:** Mediating disputes between shop floor workers, supervisors, and management to prevent workflow disruptions.
- **Union Negotiations:** Liaising with union representatives or worker committees on wages, working conditions, and grievances.
- **Disciplinary Actions:** Ensuring company policies are enforced fairly and conducting investigations into policy violations.
**2. Statutory Compliance & Administration**
- **Labor Laws:** Ensuring strict adherence to regional labor codes, such as the Factories Act, minimum wage laws, and social security mandates.
- **Contract Labor Management:** Overseeing third-party contractors and ensuring they comply with labor regulations.
- **Facility Operations:** Managing day-to-day employee amenities, including the factory canteen, transportation, and housekeeping.
**3. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding**
- **Hiring Operations:** Sourcing, interviewing, and selecting both permanent blue-collar workers and salaried plant staff.
- **Onboarding:** Conducting background verifications, medical checks, and new-hire safety orientations before employees hit the shop floor.
**4. Payroll, Attendance, & Shift Management**
- **Time & Attendance:** Managing shift rosters, overtime calculations, and leave tracking systems.
- **Payroll Inputs:** Verifying attendance data and submitting accurate records to corporate or finance departments for processing.
- **Compensation & Benefits:** Administering site-specific compensation structures, bonuses, and employee benefits.
**5. Health, Safety & Training**
- **Safety Enforcement:** Collaborating with plant safety officers to ensure PPE compliance, hazard reporting, and adherence to environmental regulations.
- **Skill Development:** Identifying workforce skill gaps and organizing technical, behavioral, and safety training programs to boost productivity.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
