Jr Accountant - Raipur

Job Description:

1. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

2. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions. Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.

3. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Record journal entries and adjustments as needed. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

4. Bank Reconciliations: Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and transactions. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

5. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and reporting as requested. Analyze variances, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights to management.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist in internal and external audits as needed. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company guidelines.

7. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as assigned.
