Job Title: Procurement Head

Location: Naya Raipur (C.G)

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Reports To: Director

Job Summary:

The Procurement Head will be responsible for managing the overall procurement function for

the home appliances business, including sourcing raw materials, components, and services

required for manufacturing. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization,

contract negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining quality

standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals

 Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components (TV, washing

machine, fans, etc.), and services

 Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers

 Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings

 Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays

 Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks

 Maintain strong vendor relationships and performance tracking

 Ensure quality compliance of purchased materials

 Coordinate with production, stores, and finance departments

 Control procurement budget and reduce overall procurement costs

 Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

 Lead and manage the procurement team

Key Skills Required:

 Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

 Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes

 Cost analysis and budgeting skills

 Leadership and team management

 Good communication and coordination abilities

 ERP / SAP knowledge preferred

Qualification:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or related field

 MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations (Preferred)

Experience:

 8–15 years of experience in procurement

 Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role

 Experience in home appliances / electronics manufacturing industry preferred
