**Job Overview**
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven **Senior Academic Counsellor** to guide prospective students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. The ideal candidate will have strong counselling skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor junior counsellors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide end-to-end counselling to students regarding courses, universities, and career opportunities
- Handle inbound and outbound leads, convert inquiries into enrollments
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM systems
- Conduct follow-ups via calls, emails, and meetings
- Lead, train, and mentor junior academic counsellors
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Coordinate with internal teams (admissions, marketing, operations)
- Stay updated with industry trends, courses, and competitor offerings
- Organize webinars, seminars, and career guidance sessions
**Key Skills & Requirements**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in academic counselling / EdTech sales
- Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
- Leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- Prior experience in EdTech / Education / Counselling domain
