Health Specialist

Role Description The Health Specialist will play a key role in planning, implementing, and monitoring health and safety initiatives for staff, exhibitors, and visitors associated with Intersolar Africa’s activities. This full-time, on-site role based in Raipur involves conducting health assessments, providing first-level medical support, and coordinating referrals to external medical services when needed. The Health Specialist will develop and deliver health promotion programs, including awareness sessions on occupational health, preventive care, and emergency preparedness. Daily tasks include maintaining medical records, monitoring workplace conditions, advising on occupational health policies, and ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to plan safe event environments, responding to health-related queries, and supporting crisis management and incident reporting.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively support staff, exhibitors, and visitors in a professional and empathetic manner.Solid knowledge of Occupational Health, with experience in workplace health assessments, risk identification, and preventive interventions.Foundational background in Medicine, such as clinical experience or training sufficient to manage basic medical issues and coordinate appropriate care.Experience in Health Promotion, including designing and delivering educational programs and campaigns
