Junior Accountant

**Job Description (JD) – Accountant**
**Role: Accountant Industry: Transport, Logistics & Travel**
**Location: Kabir Nagar Gate no. 2, Raipur, CG**
**Experience: 1–4 years (preferred in logistics/transport)**

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage billing, expenses, vehicle-wise profitability, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills and coordination with operations, clients, and management.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Handle billing & invoicing with accurate MIS reporting** Track daily expenses (fuel, tolls, maintenance, etc.) **Calculate per vehicle profit/loss** Prepare overall revenue & P&L reports **Maintain vehicle KM, diesel & mileage records** Manage staff attendance & salary processing **Send invoices via email and ensure timely payment follow-ups** Assist clients with invoice-related queries and issue resolution

**Required Skills**

• **Strong knowledge of accounting principles**
• Experience in Excel / Google Sheets (must)
• **Familiarity with GST & basic compliance.**
• Analytical mindset (costing, profitability tracking)

**Good communication skills (client handling)**

**Billing & Invoicing** 100% invoices generated within 24 hours of trip completion
**Billing accuracy ≥ 98% Receivables & Follow-ups**
Reduction in outstanding payments (DSO improvement)
**Minimum 90% collection within agreed credit period**
**Expense Management** Daily expense entry accuracy ≥ 99%
**Zero missing expense entries Vehicle Profitability** Monthly vehicle-wise profit report submission (100% on time)
**Identification of loss-making vehicles with corrective suggestions Mileage & Diesel Tracking** 100% daily update of KM & fuel records **Identification of mileage deviations (>10% variance flagged)**

**Payroll & Attendance** 100% accurate salary processing

**On-time salary disbursement Reporting (MIS & P&L)** Weekly MIS reports submission **Monthly P&L prepared within 5 days of month-end Client Handling**

Response to client queries within 24 hours

**Resolution of invoice issues within 48 hours**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
