Job Title: Senior Sales Executive – Steel & Iron Industry Raipur Based at Company Office with extensive travel across India. Industry Iron & Steel Trading Experience Required Minimum 3 years of experience in Steel, Iron, Metals, Building Materials, Industrial Raw Materials, or related trading industries. Experience in Steel & Iron Trading will be highly preferred. Age Criteria 21 to 40 years Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth and develop new customer relationships across India. The role involves extensive travel, client acquisition, sales development, market intelligence gathering, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills along with a strong understanding of the steel and iron trading industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development (70-90%) Develop new customers and business opportunities across India. Generate enquiries and secure orders for steel and iron products. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Conduct regular customer visits and presentations. Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals. Identify potential markets, industries, and customer segments. Monitor competitor activities and market trends. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution. Travel Requirements Extensive pan-India travel (approximately 40-50% of working time). Local customer visits and market development activities (approximately 30-40% of working time). Willingness to travel on short notice as per business requirements. Reporting & Analysis (10-20%) Maintain accurate records of customer meetings, enquiries, quotations, and orders. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Analyze sales performance, customer requirements, and market opportunities. Update CRM and internal reporting systems regularly. Assist management in sales forecasting and business planning. Desired Skills Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to build long-term customer relationships. Market research and business development capability. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools. Self-motivated and target-driven attitude. Ability to work independently while managing extensive travel schedules. Mandatory Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience. Valid two-wheeler driving license. Ownership of a two-wheeler is compulsory. Willingness to travel extensively across India. Good spoken and written English and Hindi. Preferred Qualifications Graduate in any discipline (Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields preferred). Existing network within Steel, Iron, Fabrication, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors.
