Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Accounting, Audit, and Taxation, with a minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be well-versed with the latest accounting standards, taxation regulations, statutory compliances, and financial reforms applicable in India.

Key Responsibilities

**Accounting & Financial Management**

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.

**Audit & Compliance**

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.

• Prepare audit schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.

**Taxation**

• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• Prepare and file tax returns within prescribed timelines.

• Ensure accurate tax calculations and reconciliations.

• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and implement necessary compliance measures.

**Financial Reporting & Analysis**

• Prepare MIS reports and financial reports for management review.

• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

**Regulatory Updates**

• Stay updated with the latest Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act provisions, GST regulations, and taxation reforms.

• Ensure implementation of new accounting policies, statutory amendments, and financial regulations.

**Required Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification.

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Accounting, Audit, and Taxation.

• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

• Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and current financial regulations.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

**Preferred Skills:**

• Experience in handling complete accounts independently.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance management.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial record keeping.
