Nesting Engineer

**Job Title: Nesting Engineer – Steel Fabrication**

**Location: Raipur (Akoli)**

**Experience:3+ years in nesting/CNC programming**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Nesting Engineer** to join our steel fabrication team. The Nesting Engineer will be responsible for creating optimized nesting layouts for CNC cutting machines (laser/plasma), ensuring efficient material usage, and supporting smooth production operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

· Create and optimize nesting programs for **CNC laser, plasma, or oxy-fuel machines**.

· Interpret technical drawings, CAD files (DXF/DWG), and bill of materials (BOM) for nesting.

· Minimize material waste while ensuring accurate and high-quality cuts.

· Prepare cutting plans and CNC programs using software such as **SigmaNEST, Lantek, or ProNest**.

· Review and verify nesting files before releasing them to the production floor.

· Coordinate with design, planning, and production teams to meet fabrication schedules.

· Maintain nesting databases and track material utilization and scrap.

· Troubleshoot cutting or nesting issues and suggest process improvements.

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in nesting and programming.

**Requirements:**

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 3 **years of experience** in nesting/CNC programming in a steel fabrication environment.

· He must Good Knowledge of Nesting Software omniwin and Fastcam

· Good knowledge of Auto Cad all version and MS office

· Strong understanding of **sheet metal/plate cutting processes**, material types, and thicknesses.

· Knowledge of **CAD software** (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

· Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical documents.

· Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

· Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
