**Job Description: Plant HR Manager**

**The Role:-**
As a Plant HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the plant level, ensuring smooth workforce management, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and effective implementation of HR policies. The role requires close coordination with production teams, supervisors, contractors, and workers to maintain a productive and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in factory or manufacturing setups and be comfortable working closely with shop-floor employees.
**Key Responsibilities:-**
- **Plant HR Operations:** Manage day-to-day HR activities at the plant, ensuring smooth execution of attendance, leave management, employee records, and workforce administration.
- **Manpower Management:** Coordinate manpower planning and deployment to support production requirements and operational efficiency.
- **Attendance & Shift Management:** Monitor employee attendance, shift rosters, overtime records, and workforce availability to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- **Employee Relations:** Address employee grievances, workplace concerns, disciplinary matters, and employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
- **Contract Labour Management:** Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure proper deployment, attendance monitoring, documentation, and compliance of contract labour.
- **Statutory Compliance:** Support and ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements including EPF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, and other applicable regulations.
- **Employee Engagement & Welfare:** Organize employee welfare initiatives, engagement activities, awareness programs, and workplace improvement initiatives.
- **Recruitment & Onboarding:** Assist in hiring plant-level employees, workers, operators, and support staff while ensuring effective onboarding and induction processes.
- **HR Documentation:** Maintain employee records, statutory registers, compliance documents, disciplinary records, and other HR-related documentation.
- **Training Coordination:** Coordinate induction programs, safety awareness sessions, and skill development initiatives for plant employees.
- **Performance & Discipline Management:** Support performance monitoring, disciplinary actions, counselling sessions, and implementation of workplace policies.
- **Coordination with Production Teams:** Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to address workforce-related challenges and manpower requirements.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:-**
- **Experience:** Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Plant HR, Factory HR, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources within a manufacturing environment.
- **Industry Exposure:** Hands-on HR experience in a manufacturing facility, rice mill, food processing unit, FMCG manufacturing plant, agro commodities business, packaging unit, or similar industrial setup is mandatory.
- **Labour Law Knowledge:** Good understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance requirements, employee welfare measures, and workforce management practices.
- **Employee Relations:** Experience handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and shop-floor workforce interactions.
- **Contract Labour Management:** Knowledge of contractor workforce management, attendance monitoring, and compliance requirements.
- **Communication Skills:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with workers, supervisors, contractors, and management.
- **Problem-Solving Ability:** Ability to handle workforce-related issues and provide practical solutions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- **Documentation Skills:** Experience maintaining HR records, compliance documentation, statutory registers, and workforce reports
- **System Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, HRMS, and other HR-related tools.
**Preferred Skills:-**
- Prior experience in Rice Milling, Food Processing, Manufacturing, FMCG, Packaging, or Industrial Production environments.
- Exposure to shift-based operations and workforce-intensive manufacturing facilities.
- Understanding of factory compliance, labour inspections, and statutory audits.
- Ability to work closely with shop-floor employees and operational teams.
- Immediate joiners and candidates serving short notice periods will be preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
