Job Summary

CreditSea is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in TDS, GST, Advanced Excel, and Tally Prime, with the ability to manage complex accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support management with accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance in Tally Prime.
• Ensure accurate and timely TDS calculation, deduction, return filing (24Q, 26Q, etc.), reconciliation, and compliance.
• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, reconciliations, input tax credit verification, and departmental notices.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and ensure timely settlements.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
• Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, and tax audits while ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, Macros preferred).
• Monitor financial controls, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement accounting best practices.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business analysis.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants while reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in TDS compliance, return filing, reconciliation, and assessments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and analytical reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime; ERP exposure will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, Income Tax provisions, and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in audit coordination and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance).
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in fintech, NBFC, BFSI, or high-volume transaction environments will be preferred.
• Exposure to accounting automation tools and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
