Accounts Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and responsible **Accounts Manager** to manage the **Managing Director’s** financial records, accounting transactions, taxation, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and experience in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities :Accounting & Finance

· Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

· Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

· Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment records.

· Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.

· Prepare customer invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.

· Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

· Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory accounting records.

· Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with customers for timely collections.

· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

**Taxation & Statutory Compliance**

· Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, Insurance and other statutory compliances.

· Prepare and reconcile GST returns and maintain proper documentation.

· Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory compliance.

· Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

**Financial Reporting**

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Assist in preparing financial statements and audit schedules.

· Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.

· Generate MIS reports and provide financial data to support management decision-making.

**Administrative Support**

· Maintain complete confidentiality of the MD's financial information and company records.

· Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record management.

· Perform any additional accounting or finance-related responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director.

**Required Skills & Competencies :**

· Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

· 3–6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the steel, manufacturing, trading, or industrial sector.

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

· Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.

· Good understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping principles.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
