English Teacher for High School CBSE (Grade 9 & 10)

Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students of grades 9 & 10, fostering a love for the language, and ensuring academic excellence. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over English, be well-versed in the curriculum, and be able to engage students through dynamic teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

● Deliver English lessons to students in grades 9 & 10.

● Prepare, plan, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.

● Assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments

● Create a positive and conducive learning environment.

● Provide constructive feedback and support to students for academic improvement.

● Develop and maintain effective classroom management strategies.

● Organize and participate in school activities - academic and beyond academic, events, and meetings.

● Incorporate multimedia, technology, and modern teaching methods to make learning engaging.

● Provide mentorship and guidance to students regarding their academic and excel in board exams

● Conduct 1 hr study session(s) after school hours for Grade 10 students(twice a week)

● Train students to participate in state, national and international competitions. Ex: English olympiad

● Maintain accurate records of students' performance, attendance, and behavior.
