**About Astralight**
Astralight is a boutique brand and growth studio for premium D2C and consumer brands — we run strategy, design, content, and performance marketing under one roof. For the brands we work with, the edit is where a good shoot becomes a film worth watching twice. We're building a small in-house content team to hold that bar higher, project after project.

**The role**
We're looking for an editor who cuts with rhythm, restraint, and mood — someone who turns raw footage into films people actually stop and watch. You'll shape pacing, sound, and color into the final piece that goes out to the world.

**What you'll do**

• Edit cinematic product films, brand stories, and ad creatives for our D2C clients
• Cut for rhythm and emotion — pacing, sound design, and music that carry the mood
• Color correct and grade for a premium, consistent brand look
• Build the versions and aspect ratios each platform needs (9:16, 3:4, 16:9)
• Add motion graphics, titles, and light VFX where the story calls for them
• Work closely with the founder and videographer, from shoot brief to final export

**Must-haves**

• A reel or portfolio that shows your editing rhythm and sense of mood — weighted more than a CV
• Strong command of Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
• A real feel for pacing, sound, and color — not just cuts on the beat
• 1–4 years editing branded, social, or commercial content
• Organized with project files and reliable on delivery

**Nice-to-haves**

• After Effects / motion graphics
• Color grading depth in DaVinci Resolve
• An instinct for sound design
• Experience with D2C, fashion, or product content
