Videographer / Cinematographer

**About Astralight**
Astralight is a boutique brand and growth studio for premium D2C and consumer brands — we run strategy, design, content, and performance marketing under one roof. For the brands we work with, the film is often the reason someone falls in love with the product. We're building a small in-house content team to hold that bar higher, shoot after shoot.

**The role**
We're looking for a videographer who thinks in light, texture, and mood — someone who shoots product and brand films that look cinematic, not corporate. You'll own the camera side of our shoots end to end, from the first lighting setup to the final frame.

**What you'll do**

• Plan, light, and shoot cinematic product, brand, and ad films for our clients (footwear, interiors, lifestyle)
• Own lighting, framing, and camera movement on set — tabletop, product, and lifestyle setups
• Work with the founder and editor on treatment, shot lists, and the mood of each film
• Manage your kit end to end — lenses, lighting, and clean on-set data handling
• Hand off footage organized and cut-ready, framed for every format (9:16, 3:4, 16:9)

**Must-haves**

• A reel or portfolio showing cinematic product or brand work — this matters more than a CV
• Strong command of lighting and composition; you can make an ordinary object look premium
• Hands-on experience with a mirrorless or cinema camera and lighting gear
• 1–4 years shooting branded, product, or commercial content
• Dependable on deadlines, obsessive about the small details

**Nice-to-haves**

• Your own camera and lighting kit
• Basic editing or color knowledge (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Experience with D2C, e-commerce, or fashion product shoots
• Gimbal and motion work
